The Minister of Commerce & Industry (MoCI), Magdalene Ellen Dagoseh, has challenged Commerce Inspectors across Liberia and others heading the various divisions of the Ministry to consider taking initiatives in support of the Ministry’s overall development.
The Ministry of Commerce & Industry will on Monday, February 17, commence Phase One of its General Market Inspection across Liberia. The nationwide inspection, to be concluded on March 28, is intended to weed out of the local market, all products that will be established to be unwholesome and hazardous. It is also aimed at ensuring that all businesses operating throughout Liberia are in compliance with the General Business Laws of the country.
The Ministry of Commerce & Industry (MoCI) has presented five motorbikes to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to enhance its operational capacity. The value of the five Yamaha Motorbikes, including insurance cost is a little over USD$22,000.00 (Twenty Two Thousand United States Dollars).

The data reported is gathered based on assessment of import documents which include commercial invoice, assessment notice, single administrative document, clean report of findings, and targeted market sample surveys.
