Commerce and Industry Minister, Amin Modad is calling on Liberians to ensure maximum protection of facilities of companies that are helping them sustain their respective families.

Minister Modad made specific reference to job-creation institutions being run by non- Liberians across the country.
He said carless handling of working facilities and equipment could cause setback for the country, considering the financial cost associated with assembling the facilities, including payment of wages to Liberian citizens. 

Minister Modad also indicated that non-Liberian owned companies that are helping the country in the area of job creation need to be appreciated by all Liberian citizens by always exercising honesty in carrying out their duties. 
He cautioned them to also channel   whatever concerns they may have through the appropriate authority, rather than through violence. 

The Commerce and Industry Minister made the call at the end of his first two-day tour of facilities of several companies at the Monrovia Industrial Park (MIP) in Gardnerville.

The two-day engagement saw Minister Modad and his delegation toured facilities of TIBA Industrial Group, Premier Milling, Sethi Brothers’s Steel Factory and the Liberia Soap and Detergent Company Incorporated, owned by Founi Brothers.

For their part, the managements of the companies expressed their commitments to being part of the Liberian government’s job creation efforts. They also described Minister Modad and his delegations visit as timely and vowed to conduct their activities in keeping with the laws of Liberia.
