Koakun Emmanuel Myers, BSc, MSc, is a results-oriented professional with over 13 years of
experience in geoscience, environmental management, project implementation, and governance
leadership. He is known for delivering impactful results through strategic planning, technical
expertise, and strong stakeholder engagement. His professional background includes substantial
work in mineral exploration, environmental assessment, geospatial data management, and the
development of quality and regulatory systems.
As Deputy Director General for Technical Services at the Liberia Standards Authority (LiSA),
Mr. Myers provides leadership for standards development, metrology, conformity assessment,
and institutional capacity building. He plays a key role in strengthening national quality
infrastructure, improving regulatory compliance, and promoting innovation and sustainability
across sectors.
Mr. Myers holds a BSc in Geology and an MSc in Environmental Science (Distinction),
complemented by multiple professional certificates obtained both locally and internationally. He
remains committed to excellence, continuous learning, and advancing national development.
