New Price Ceiling for Petroleum Products (Fuel Oil and Gasoline) on the Liberian Market Effective December 4, 2024
Monrovia, Liberia – December 4, 2024 – The Ministry of Commerce & Industry, in collaboration with the management of the Liberia Petroleum Refining Company (LPRC), has announced a reduction in the prices of Gasoline (PMS) and Fuel Oil (AGO) on the Liberian market.
The price of gasoline (PMS) has been decreased by seven United States cents (US$0.07) per gallon, while the price of fuel oil (AGO) has been reduced by ten United States cents (US$0.10) per gallon.
The updated prices are as follows:
Gasoline (PMS)
- Wholesale Selling Price: US$3.63
- Retail Pump Price: US$3.91 / 705.00 LD
Fuel Oil (AGO)
- Wholesale Selling Price: US$3.93
- Retail Pump Price: US$4.21 / 760.00 LD
This pricing adjustment reflects the continued commitment of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry and the Liberia Petroleum Refining Company to maintaining stable and fair petroleum product pricing for the benefit of the Liberian people.
The MoCI and LPRC Inspectorate Team will ensure strict adherence to these new prices to avoid arbitrary increases in pump prices on the local market.
